About Us

Who We Are

You might be asking,

"What's the Church of the

Nazarene?" or maybe saying,

“I haven't heard much about

the Nazarene Church.”

We are glad you want to know more about who we are:

  • We are a Protestant, evangelical Christian Church in the Wesleyan-Holiness theological tradition. The Church of the Nazarene traces itself back to John Wesley and the original Methodist
  • Church in the 1700’s and to

    the Wesleyan Methodist Church

    of the 1800’s.

  • Our name, Nazarene, refers to God’s Son Jesus. Jesus was known as a Nazarene because His hometown was Nazareth. (Matthew 2:19-23)
  • Within our state, we are a part of the Wisconsin District Church of the Nazarene (www.wisnaz.com); within our world, we are a part of the International Church of the Nazarene (www.nazarene.org).
  • We are a warm and friendly church where everyone is welcome.
  • Our solid foundation for living, preaching, and teaching is the Bible, God's holy Word to us.
  • We believe:
  • *God loves you and has a

    wonderful plan for your

    life.

    *You can have a personal

    relationship with the one

    true God through faith and

trust in His one & only Son

    Jesus Christ.

    *Jesus wants to be your

    Savior & Lord.

*Jesus is the only way to

    eternal life in Heaven

    because Jesus is our only

    means of salvation from sin

    through His death on the

    cross and His resurrection

    which paid the penalty for

    our sins.

    *Jesus can give your life

    true meaning & purpose.

*In Jesus you can find the

    answer to the problems and

    challenges of life, and He

    can give you forgiveness,

    new life, guidance, love,

    hope, joy, and peace.
